In the midst of the chaos, the Pensacola Naval Hospital family medicine clinic gave a wonderful send-off lunch with massive amounts of food and friendship earlier today. Thanks to all especially Bonnie, Evelyn, Rock and Sandy. I only arrived last July in Pensacola and spent the next month getting oriented and credentialed. Then I was off to Portsmouth to catch babies for a month. So, not much time there but great memories for my first real Navy experience (Officer Indoc School is not the "real" Navy as I heard many times). In 2 days is my first anniversary of entry into the Navy and it has been wonderful.
