We will be on leave in 2 more days. We did packing and a lecture on "influence" yesterday. We turned in our Humvees, radios, night vision goggles, etc. today. What should have taken an hour took three due to the typical lack of communication. More packing and cleaning today. We filled out a survey on our experience as well.
Tomorrow is either deployment ceremony or graduation, depending on the speaker. We will spend about 2 hours in the 98 degree heat to do this. Can't wait.

rActually, it was held inside so no heat strokes. The "deployment ceremony" lasted 12 minutes, including the singing of the 1st Division song, Army song, Air Force song and Anchors Aweigh (we snuck in the 2nd verse: "Drink to the foam!"
